Rush Hour add another footnote to the Juno dossier marked ‘label of the year’ with this release of rough jack material from Mathematics and Yore artiste Marcello Napoletano. There are vintage Chicago vibes aplenty on “Everyday Madness”, with the Italian’s schizophrenic approach to syncopation imbuing the track with real energy. Next up, the pretty self explanatory “Raw As Fuck” combines a grinding machine funk rhythm with some deeply emotive strings.
