Discodeine are back. After 3 acclaimed ep’s, numerous remix proposals turned down, a few months spent on a butch basement working on their album, Pilooski and Pentile delivers a perfect summer anthem called Singular, featuring the infamous Matias Aguayo on vocals. It’s a Fine Line (aka Ivan Smagghe and Tim Paris) provides one of their fantastic “train fantome” remixes while Institube wonderkid Das Glow turns the track into an underage drive by shooting at Eurodisney. Pilooski provides the cherry on top with an exoticore-tropical edit of Falkenberg (another gem from the forthcoming album) that will please you, steel drums massives. Leipzig’s hidden gem Ron Deacon delivers the next output on Oliver Deutschmann’s growing Falkplatz label. With productions associated with the likes of Workshop or Farside to name a few, you can expect only the best from of this promising beat maker. ‘Sunday Walk’ starts things off slow with a long, drawn-out groover as the title suggests.
