With this record Innervisions brings you 2 remixes for the award winning Sudanese musician Emmanuel Jal. The remixes come from Henrik Schwarz and Olof Dreijer (The Knife) and they were originally compiled for the SUDAN 365 – A BEAT FOR PEACE campaign. In this campaign several organizations across the globe have come together to promote international awareness for the referendum in January 2011 in which the people of South Sudan will vote to decide whether they wish to remain part of a united Sudan or whether they want to become an independent country. But as always with Innervisions releases: let the music speak for itself.
