Minus golden boys, are back with their new album.
Minimal luminaries Niederflur arrive at a second album on their own Niederflurtracks label. Freed from any constraints imposed by the current M_nus agenda, the pair stretch out into forms and structures we’ve not heard from them before, like the broken angles of ‘Integral’, the kinked gallop of ‘Mimesis’ and the heavy swinging ‘Normalnull’. Four/Four jackers are present and correct in the Function-esque ‘Antiform’ and the bassquaking ‘Exil’, while ‘Isotrop’ sculpts jacking house patterns and ‘Feldstrke’ sounds like Sleeparchive’. The production is just flawless throughout and should really be prescribed to anyone with a passion for serious, clinical techno values.
